Knowing the elements of different cultures around us is not bad. Knowing the different religions around us either. What
is fundamentally wrong with the new mandatory course named"ethics and religious
culture" in Quebec is that it is used to require all children
in a manner of thinking falsely called "ethics" which has its own vision
of good and evil and wants to bring the whole world in the principles
of the Quebec Charter - atheist and non-Canadian - rights. This thinking runs counter to Christian morality teachings, Jewish and several other religious and lay morals.
The
state requires up to 100 hours of this course per school years and children
must talk about what they live as religious at home, talk about their family values, to question their inheritance and build their reasoning and new values marked by signposts of this "ethics and religious culture course". In court, an expert named David Mascre, explained to a judge that those methods were able to be compared to Nazi's ones. Anyway, governement say that it's only "Dialogue" and that it help child to adopt a best way to live togeter.
Children
are also exposed in the course to 11 years of denatured "religious culture" of
more than 7 religions while the training of teachers is often inadequate
to teach a single religion! Children will be victims of overdose gavage of religious elements of poor quality
that they are required to memorize, reluctant thereafter any personal
religious experience.
Jews,
Catholics, evangelicals and even some Muslim groups are united to
perform a resistance to the imposition of this ideology and methods to their
children. Children
have been bullied in school for not following the course, parents were
threatened that their exemplary children will be expelled by school
administrators. The
Minister seems to make considerable pressure against any school board, parents and
public or private school that would exempt a child from this course.
Quebec parents need your help t
o fight this threat, to protect their children and to defending their humans rights in court. You can help them.

all the religions violates the right of the parents to educate their
own children according to their own religion. Secondly, talking in the
same way about all the religions, it is almost like an anti-Catholic
education—anti-Catholic because this creates a certain relativism.
Relativism—all the religions are the same and you can choose one of
them like a story. So this is not an education, but anti-religious—very
often anti-religious.
